Conflicting Forces

Sometimes I feel as though the mind and the soul are two running forces with different motives.

You can think you know exactly how you feel, and then your soul takes the drivers seat and steers in a direction you could never predict. It's as if the force within our soul becomes exhausted by the alteregos dwelling in our minds, and sticks its nose at our convinced understandings by proving that the only reality is our internal passion; fogged, at times overseen, unexpected, but our ultimate influence.

All the rest simply takes the backseat.

Therefore, I have no absolute truth, instead I make it up in my head and wait until my heart kicks in, and kicks me out.
