the morning after thrill

1.
Real wholesome life, one says,
in the most earnest satire,
as if they were the first to speak up.

2.
Window open so I can see the lightening
heighten.
Huddle, behind the curtain
avoiding
the emotionless face underneath.
I, would never make you feel this way,
my little insignificant prize.

3.
For the letters I’ve never sent, but despised
You for not reading, for being myself
knowing you hate myself

4.
Failures, neat catastrophies
seen with vast precision.
Cleaner, edgeless
when reflected in anothers eyes.
